Schmidt Salita’s Senior Trial Lawyer Dean Salita was presented with the Minnesota Association of Justice (MNAJ) award for “Member of the Year” at the annual convention at Madden’s Gull Lake Resort.
25 Year’s Service to Injured Workers.
Dean was honored for his 10 years of dedicated service to helping injured workers as Chair of the MNAJ Workers Compensation Committee. with increased benefits. In presenting the award, Doug Schmidt noted,

Dean has worked hard to improve workers compensation benefits by lobbying the legislature, helping draft new legislative bills, and working with labor unions. He has brought about improvements in the following areas:

- Raising the presumptive retirement age to 72 years;
- Creating a presumption that Covid contraction is work-related;
- Creating coverage for the victims of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD);
