MINNEAPOLIS INJURY LAWYERS CELEBRATE LAW DAY 2017-FEATURING 14TH AMENDMENT

MINNEAPOLIS INJURY LAWYERS at the Schmidt Salita Law Team will celebrate Law Day 2017 on May 1st.

The Minneapolis Injury lawyer note that Law Day USA has been promoted by the American Bar Association for many years.  Douglas E. Schmidt, the senior injury lawyer on the Schmidt Salita Law Team was honored by the American Bar Association in 1969.  He received the Award of Merit of the American Bar Association at its annual convention in Dallas, Texas.  Schmidt was honored for having chaired a local Law Day observance that sent lawyers to local schools to speak about the negative aspects of a criminal record.

The Minneapolis Injury Lawyers have celebrated Law Day USA for many years.  It has fallen on the same day, May 1st, as Russia’s military celebration.  The contrast is obvious.

Law Day 2017 will feature recognition of the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution.  The 14th Amendment features “equal protection under the law” and “due process”-2 very important cornerstones of American democracy.

Minneapolis Injury Lawyers at the Schmidt Salita Law Team are dedicated to bringing justice to the victims of personal injury and wrongful death in car accidents, workplace injuries, and other types of traumatic injuries and wrongful death.  They believe strongly in the principles of equal protection and due process.
