Minneapolis Injury Lawyers at the Schmidt Salita Law Team ask fellow lawyers and fellow citizens to join in the recognition of the importance of the “Rule of Law” in establishing and maintaining an orderly and lawful society. They ask that all Americans give special attention on this day to the value of the principles of equal protection and due process.
Schmidt Celebrates the Anniversary of Receiving the Award of Merit from the ABA.
Douglas E. Schmidt celebrates the anniversary of his receipt of the Award of Merit from the American Bar Association. Early in his legal career, Schmidt chaired a local Law Day celebration that was recognized nationally by the American Bar Association. Schmidt received the prestigious Award of Merit, presented at the national convention of the American Bar Association in Dallas Texas.

Schmidt comments, “The rule of law is what distinguishes the US from other countries with regard to basic human rights. It is only fitting and proper that the focus in 2017 would be on the 14th Amendment with its cornerstone principles of equal protection and due process. In all those years while Russia was celebrating May 1st with a military parade, the US has been celebrating the rule of law. What a contrast. Let us remember and cherish the orderly society that he enjoy. Let us appreciate the importance of equal protection and due process as the glue that holds it together.”
